Tuscaloosa is a city in the state of Alabama, which also serves as the county seat for the Tuscaloosa County. The City of Tuscaloosa is situated along the Black Warrior River, and is the 5th biggest in Alabama. Tuscaloosa was officially incorporated in 1819, and was named in honor of Tuskaloosa, a chief of one of the Muskogen speaking Amerindian tribes.
